ACCESSIBILITY SETTINGS
Educators can toggle and adjust several parameters to create a personalized learning environment.
Time Management: Adjust the pacing of timed activities (like Puzzle Player or Pop-a-Letter) to support students with different processing speeds.
- Standard Time: The default pacing for all students.
- Extra Time: Increases the duration of timed challenges
- More Extra Time: Provides a significant extension for students requiring maximum flexibility.
Visual Display and Support: Customize how information is presented to ensure clarity and focus.
- Captions/No Captions: Toggle captions to provide text-based support for audio prompts, or remove them to focus purely on auditory processing.
- Contrast Settings: Ensure optimal visibility with standard contrast levels tailored for various device types and lighting environments.
Interaction and Input: Adjust how students physically interact with the app.
- Standard Tap Mode: The default interaction setting for selecting and dragging items.

Educators can manage these settings directly within CC PAL Insight for flexible implementation:
- Students Tab: Access the Accessibility button here to enable Accessibility settings for all students.
- Groups Page: Use this to apply specific accessibility profiles to an entire small group—ideal for supporting a cohort with similar needs.
- Individual Student Page: Navigate to a specific student’s profile for granular control, allowing you to mix and match settings based on unique learning profiles.
