If your district uses self-registration (not automated rostering or single sign-on), teachers can create their own accounts using a School Access Code. This is the preferred method for onboarding larger numbers of teachers to the Learning Portal.
Each school has its own access code. Administrators can find the code on the Schools page and share it with teachers so they can register their accounts.
Find the School Access Code
- Sign in to the Learning Portal.
- Select your School Admin or Coach role.
- Select Schools from the top navigation menu.
- Locate the school you want to manage.
- Open the school to view its Access Code.
Each school has a unique access code that teachers will use when creating their accounts.
Provide the Access Code to Teachers
Share the school’s access code with teachers at your school. Teachers will use this code when selecting Sign Up on the Learning Portal login page.
During registration, teachers will:
- Enter the School Access Code
- Enter their first name and last name
- Enter their username/email
- Create their password
After submitting the form, their account will be created and they can begin using the Learning Portal anytime at: https://ccclearningportal.org
When to Use School Access Codes
School Access Codes are the recommended way to onboard teachers when your district uses self-registration, especially when:
- Multiple teachers need to create accounts
- New staff members join during the school year
- You want teachers to create their own login credentials
