Books are assigned the same way activities and assessments are assigned.
Navigate to the text you would like to assign:
SIPPS (Level) > Instructional Resources > Reading a Story
Being a Reader > Small Group Comprehension > Book Library
Being a Reader > Small Group Foundational Skill Sets > Student Resources and Book Library
Once you navigate to the text, you will have a few options:
- Assign to students
- View Content
- Go to ClassView Pro
Assign to Students
This flow is used for all activities/assessments/texts that students will complete from their accounts. Clicking this option will open a window in which you can adjust aspects of the assignment, including which students will complete the "assignment," the due date, and where the resulting data will flow to. When you click Assign, the activity/assessment/text will appear in the selected students’ accounts.
Once you assign this to a student, he or she can log into the Learning Portal and access the text.
View Content
This opens an accessible DocReader version of the text. If you want the PDF of the text, select PDF from the dropdown in the "I would like to..." dropdown next to "Assign to students."

ClassView Pro shows you details for a specific assignment.
BookRoom! Mobile App
The BookRoom! mobile app can also provide access to the texts for students.
To access the texts via the BookRoom! app, click the appropriate link below to download the app to your mobile device.
