Some users are assigned more than one role in the Learning Portal. You may see one or more of the following roles:
- Teacher
- School Admin or Coach
- District Admin or Coach
Each role provides access to different tools and views within the platform.
Choose a Role When You Sign In
After logging in, you may be asked to select the role you want to enter.
- Review the available roles.
- Select the role you would like to use.
For example:
- Teacher → Works with classes, students, and programs
- School Admin or Coach → Manages users and access at the school level
- District Admin or Coach → Manages users and access at the district level
Switch Roles After You’ve Logged In
You can change roles at any time.
- Select your profile icon
- Choose Switch Roles.
- Select the role you want to enter.
The page will refresh and load the selected view.
Why You Might Use Different Roles
Some users (for example, school or district administrators) may also need to enter the Teacher view to work directly with classes or programs.
Switching roles allows you to access the correct tools for the task you’re completing.
If You Don’t See the Role You Expected
Role assignments are managed by Collaborative Classroom in cooperation with your school or district.
