What support is available for older programs and editions on the new Learning Portal? – Collaborative Classroom

In the 2026–2027 school year, Collaborative Classroom is upgrading to a new Learning Portal experience with differing levels of access based on program and edition.

Educators currently implementing Being a Writer, Second Edition and the SEEDS of Learning™ framework can access their materials on the new Learning Portal. To access these programs on the new platform:

Activate your account.
- How do I create my account with an activation email (self-registration districts)?
  - Please note that if your district uses Single Sign-On (SSO) with us, you should sign in using your district’s SSO option instead and do not need to activate your account through email.
Add a class and add your program to the class.

- How do I add a program to my class? How do I change the programs I have added?
Select "Assigned Programs" from your class card to access your program materials.

Educators using older and/or discontinued editions/programs, such as Making Meaning, Third Edition, Caring School Community, Being a Reader, First Edition, and Book Clubs, First Edition will maintain Legacy Learning Portal access through June 2028. To access these programs on the Legacy Learning Portal:
