The Handwriting Hub is available for those using Being a Reader, Expanded Second Edition and Being a Writer, Third Edition with students in grades 3–5. It offers no-login-required instruction and paper/pencil practice following Zaner-Bloser stroke sequences. Handwriting Hub is now available for Grades 3–5.
- Teachers can share the Handwriting Hub link with students to access the web-based app.
- In the Handwriting Hub, students will experience cursive writing instruction, be provided practice opportunities and given instruction on how to practice independently with paper/pencil.
- The instruction will follow the Zaner-Bloser cursive stroke sequences and feature legibility and fluidity.
- Students will learn correct stroke sequences, use margins appropriately, and apply proper spacing between letters within words and between words in sentences.
Locate the handwriting hub on the Learning Portal by selecting a Unit, then select Handwriting Hub.
