The SEEDS professional learning framework is, as the name suggests, professional learning for adults who teach and care for children ages 3–5; it is not a curriculum. The SEEDS framework is a powerful tool for early childhood educators who are seeking evidence-based professional learning.
In contrast, Pinecone Path is a curriculum, not professional learning. It provides one full year of fully articulated and comprehensive early literacy and social skills instruction that is specifically designed for children in the year before kindergarten. Pinecone Path is a great resource for Pre-K or Transitional Kindergarten educators who are seeking a robust curriculum that provides comprehensive, research-based literacy instruction to prepare children for kindergarten.
