Counselors may provide support in many ways. Some roles include:
- Serving as a member of the Caring School Community Leadership Team
- Supporting teachers who may feel the need for help with facilitation
- Supporting students who may benefit from practicing some of the social skills that have been introduced
- Serving as the communication link with non-classroom teachers about supporting the implementation of Caring School Community
- Assisting grade level PLC teams in Topic Week selection
- Assisting grade level PLC teams with the creation of a new Topic Week using the guidance provided in the Open Week/Create Your Own Week portion of the Teacher’s Manual
