If a student forgets their password or is unable to sign in, you can reset their password from the class roster.
When resetting a password, you can either enter a new password yourself or select Refresh to generate a new password automatically.
To Reset a Student Password
- Sign in to the Learning Portal.
- If prompted, select your Teacher role.
- Your screen will open to My Classes.
- Find the class the student belongs to.
- Select Roster for that class.
- Locate the student in the Active roster.
- Select the password field for that student.
- In the Reset Password window:
- Enter a new password, or
- Select Refresh to generate a new password automatically
- Select Save.
The student can now sign in using their username and new password.
Tips for Teachers
- Select Show Password if you need to view the generated password before sharing it with the student.
- Select Refresh again if you want to generate a different password.
- Make sure the student knows their username and updated password before signing in.
