The weekly lessons in grades K–1 are designed to intentionally build upon the previous week’s lessons so the continuity of learning is inherent to the program.
Once the school year is underway, the weekly Class Meeting in grades 2–8 begins with a brief review of the previous Class Meeting topic, considering any decisions made as a class, and how the students are doing with carrying out their decisions. These check-in opportunities give students the opportunity to reflect on their decisions and to discuss any thoughts related to the previous week’s discussion.
