The SIPPS student reading materials (Beginning Level Little Books, Extension Level Story Book, and SIPPS Plus Dreams on Wheels) are based on a very different instructional model from the reading instruction that happens in leveled texts. The SIPPS reading material is closely matched to the instructional sequence for spelling-sounds and high frequency sight words so that the students can be successful reading every word.
