Use Lesson 1A, which is for initial instruction. Lessons 1B, 1C, and 1D are each complete 30-minute lessons that are intended to be used if students need more support after teaching lesson 1A. The same applies to Lessons 2B, 2C, and 2D. If students need more support with the phonics and high frequency sight words taught in Lesson 1A, continue with Lesson 1B the following session. If more support is needed after Lesson 1B, teach Lesson 1C when you next meet. If students are still not taking on the new learning after lesson 1C, teach lesson 1D the next time you meet. Follow the same procedure for Lessons 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D.
