Claim Licenses
On the Learning Portal home page, select your name dropdown in the top right-hand corner, then choose Licenses.
Once you claim the licenses you need, refresh your page and you should be able to view your resources on the Resources tab. This step will add ClassView Pro and the ClassView Pro Tutorial to your Apps tab.
Create a Class
The ClassView Pro Tutorial will show you how to find and select Classes & Groups and Add New Class within ClassView Pro. This is where you will add the necessary programs and information for your class. (Note that Class ID can be the Class Name repeated.)
Add Students to Your Class
The ClassView Pro Tutorial will show you how you to add students to the class you have created from your Students tab by selecting Add New Student.
Another method for adding students to your class is importing your student list. Note that this Import Students option will allow you to add students even if they are assigned to another teacher.
- In the left navigation pane select Classes & Groups and select your class.
- Then select Download CSV Template. The template headers include Students ID, First Name, Last Name, and Grade.
- Fill out CSV template, and upload or drag and drop the completed CSV file to the section. Your students will be added to your class as well as to your Students tab.
Create a Group
In the left navigation pane select Classes & Groups. From the list of your classes, select the class you would like to add a group to. Choose a Group Name and save.
If you have added students to your class, you can drag and drop students from your class on the left into the created group on the right.
Start Assessments
The ClassView Pro Tutorial will show you how to go to Assessments in the left navigation pane and begin a Student, Class, or Group assessment. Select the program and grade/level (top left); class, student, or group (just below program/grade/level), and resource and week/unit (top center dropdowns) to populate assessments.
