November 5th, 2024: We are currently experiencing a login issue linked to a "0 error" and a message saying "Unable to retrieve OAuth redirect params cookie." This is due to a Securly filter that some school districts have added to district browsers. This filter appears to be blocking access to our website.
To resolve this, you’ll need to contact your district’s IT team and request they unblock our site on the Securly filter. Once that’s adjusted, you should be able to log in smoothly.
To ensure seamless access to specific resources in the Learning Portal, follow these steps to add Securly to a whitelist and configure a wildcard to allow all subdomains for .ccclearningportal.org.
1. Access Securly Admin Portal
- Log in to your Securly Admin Console with administrator credentials.
- Navigate to the Web Filtering or Content Filtering section (depending on your Securly configuration).
2. Add Securly to Whitelist
- Locate the Whitelist/Allowlist settings area in your content filtering controls.
- Enter the Securly URLs that need to be allowed for access, adding them one by one if necessary.
- Confirm that these URLs are allowed staff profiles, as required by your organization.
3. Add a Wildcard for .ccclearningportal.org
- Go back to the Whitelist/Allowlist section.
- Add a new entry as follows:
-
Domain Name:
*.
ccclearningportal.org
- This wildcard will allow access to all subdomains under
ccclearningportal.org
, ensuring no interruptions when navigating within the Learning Portal.
-
Domain Name:
- Save your changes.
4. Verify Configuration
After making these updates:
- Clear browser cache or log out/in on devices to refresh the Securly policies.
- Test access to ensure that resources under the
ccclearningportal.org
domain and any necessary Securly domains are accessible without filtering issues.
